The added red solid gold part 'stirrup' and 'cross guard' on the Samurai are entirely set by hand with white sparkling diamonds. The goldsmith body is entirely engraved with a ribbon pattern and lozenges with imprinted exotic scales. A refined profound black ribbon signs each piece.

A black lacquered wooden box encloses each piece. the box is decorated with red gold metal with the Samurai Mon and signed with the S.T. Dupont logo in red gold. Inside the box, a red gold plate is engraved with the Samurai logo, product numbering and the S.T. Dupont logo.
